Bodysuits FAQs

Why do I need a bodysuit for a baby?

Bodysuits are a versatile sleep or day must-have for every baby. Long-sleeved styles are a perfect base layer for winter and short-sleeved ones in breathable fabrics can be worn on their own in summer to keep a little one cool. Our organic baby bodysuits are designed for fuss-free dressing with poppers & envelope openings. They come in plenty of styles & colours for baby girls, baby boys or a choice of gender-neutral baby clothes.

What’s the difference between a onesie and a bodysuit?

Sometimes thought of as the same thing, however unlike bodysuits, baby onesies are loosely-fitted garments often for daytime, that can be designed with or without legs. Baby bodysuits on the other hand don’t have legs but can have long or short sleeves or no sleeves at all.

Do babies wear bodysuits under sleepsuits?

As babies can’t regulate their temperature, a bodysuit under a sleepsuit in winter can help keep them warm at night. (Similarly under outfits in the day). In the warmer months, it’s probably not needed. All of our bodysuits are made from thermoregulating and moisture-wicking organic fabrics to keep them at an ideal temperature, but always feel the back of their neck or tummy to ensure they’re not overheating.

What’s the difference between a baby sleepsuit and a bodysuit?

A very common question, simply put, bodysuits - or vests - do not normally have legs and are used as a layer under clothing (or alone in summer). Sleepsuits have arms and legs & are usually worn at night but can be worn all the time when babies are young. Ours come with zips for easy nighttime changes
