We love everything about Scandi design, especially the use of gender neutral tones. Here are a few of our favourite minimal design inspirations.

We love this minimalist nursery shared by Decor Pad. If you want a scheme that both you and your little ones can enjoy for years to come, and is appropriate for both genders, a white and grey colour palette is perfect. It also creates an incredibly calm and soothing environment.

If you are limited with space, the more minimal the design the better,
that's why we're in love with these simple draws that can be used as changing table if you add a changing mat to the top. Paired with a rug pad underneath so it doesn’t slip, this is ideal.

Including a storage basket made from natural materials is a great way to beautifully store babies toys and laundry, creating more room and keeping the tone of the room clean.

Our mountain throw and playmat would compliment a nursery like this perfectly. Made by our trusted manufacturers from woven cotton and designed to withstand the rough and tumble of family life.

We love the soft tones and natural wood in this nursery image shared by Chantelle Grady, with a touch of scandi design. When you don’t want to add wallpaper that your baby will grow out of, adding framed prints is a great way to keep the room looking young, and a bold rug like this one is a great touch if you want to add a touch of personality.

Our favourite feature however, is the subtle and fun giraffe theme. Aside from the giraffe toys and prints, check out the lampshades which include a subtle giraffe shape. If you love them as much as us, you can find them here).

Our cashmere throw would work perfectly in a nursery like this, and can be used as a blanket or scarf for mum too.

Stars in nursery rooms have become increasingly popular, and we particularly love the way that stars have been combined with other shapes and patterns here by Pottery Barn. This nursery design is gender neutral with a simple and stylish grey and white colours, and is bright and airy to keep the room feeling clean and refreshing.

It’s no surprise that we think our star play throw would perfectly compliment this nursery. It’s ideal for playing on too.

And lastly, our favourite, as shared by Oh.Eight.Oh.Nine on the Mini Style Blog. The black and white Scandi décor, combined with prints and a touch of natural, tan and green, gives this space a real clean and modern feel. We also love the touch of organic textures with the use of wood, leather, wool and natural greens to soften the monochrome.
