About us

We're all about simplifying the early stages of parenthood & making this new adventure as straightforward as possible.

We believe in protecting your little one & the planet by thoughtfully handcrafting the softest & safest natural essentials, cleanly designed to make parenthood simple.

Our Philosophy

We’re all about simplifying the early stages of parenthood & making this new adventure as straightforward as possible. We know that keeping baby feeling safe & comfortable is a constant worry for you, so we’ve created organic, soft and environmentally conscious designs that you and baby will love. We want to give you peace of mind that your little ones will only come into contact with natural yarns, which have been ethically sourced and free from anything nature didn’t intend.

Having a gender-neutral colour scheme makes our clothes uncomplicated and versatile so you can quickly put an outfit together or even use them for another arrival. We believe that our no frills & no fuss ethos means that you can give baby the essential attire for every need without your house being a stock room for clothes. With less time spent on purchasing, you can spare every second to embrace those special moments with your little one. Less clothes means less waste, resulting in more time; something that all parents wish they had more of.

Our Story

We’re Cam & Akin, two Uncles that decided to create something a little different when searching for the most perfectly useful gift for our nieces and nephews. Finding something that parents actually needed & wanted, crafted from the highest quality organic materials for a reasonable price became something of an enduring task. That’s when MORI was conceived & a new way of design, shopping and gifting was brought into the world.

MORI is Japanese for forest and is a subtle nod to the purity of nature. Our inspiration comes from Scandinavian and Japanese concepts that focus on natural aspects paired with sleek styles, which compliment the environment. Protecting the world is as vital to us as protecting your baby & that’s why we use bamboo and organic cotton, as it’s soft like cashmere, anti-bacterial, breathable and sustainable. We always want you to feel your baby is in secure & snug hands with us.

Comfort, ease and necessity are always what we have at the forefront of our minds when we’re coming up with new essential items and by constantly leveraging the latest technology we’re always trying to lead the way by innovating new ways to shop that make the whole process easier, quicker and more enjoyable.

Our Process

We work closely with talented and expert makers who handcraft all our products to impeccable standards. All of our goods are GOTS certified, so you can be sure that nothing harmful has touched our materials & everything has been responsibly made by our craftsmen and women. We have carefully selected the very best factories – some of which are run by Akin’s family in Turkey who have an impressive heritage in textiles and manufacturing. Ethical standards and fair working conditions are important to us.

By using organic bamboo and cotton we’re ensuring that nothing harmful comes into contact with your baby’s sensitive skin. Being vulnerable at such a young age means bacteria, sunshine & moisture can all affect little one’s precious skin so we’ve selected natural materials containing bamboo as they don’t hold germs, protect from 97% of rays and also absorb any dampness.

We’re continuing to do our part to protect the planet by reducing our packaging and ensuring we only use recyclable materials. We believe being kind to baby & the planet goes hand-in-hand.
