Kay has worked as a Midwife for 27 years and has specialised in supporting mum with feeding their babies for 13 of those years. In 2010 she started her training to become an IBCLC Lactation Consultant and qualified in 2012. Since then she has used her knowledge to support mums in the NHS and has run a small private practice as an IBCLC.
Kay has been volunteering for Blossom antenatal since March 2020 , helping them to fulfil their vision of providing free breastfeeding classes for all women and their families. She feels strongly that Blossom antenatal has been her silver lining in the Covid 19 cloud!
